OurDream AI is the best AI girlfriend call app for a call that arrives with everything else, because a real-time conversation, explicit images and video of one character all sit on a single account.
I placed the same call on all nine, twice, a week apart. Muah.AI assigns a real number you can ring, Secrets AI grants 160 included minutes for $9.17 a month annually, and two of the nine never connect a call at all.
Quick verdict
OurDream AI is the pick for the companion built around the call. Judged on talking alone the order changes: Nomi does not meter voice at all, and Kindroid is the only vendor that states call audio and video are never stored.

Key Takeaways
- Muah.AI assigns a real telephone number you can ring, capped at 30 to 60 minutes a day, sold only on the $99.99 tier and requiring a real phone number to set up.
- Kupid AI meters voice by the week, at 12 minutes on Pro and 35 on Ultra, which makes its more expensive tier the cheaper one once you work out the cost a minute.
- DreamGF charges 7 tokens for a minute of calling against a 100-token monthly grant, so a paid account gets fourteen minutes before it has generated anything else.
- Four of these nine return an error or a not-found screen at the obvious pricing address, and two more never publish any price on the open web in any form at all.
- Four different things are sold as voice here: a live call, a recorded voice note, a text reply read aloud afterwards, and a rendered clip with no talking in it at all.
A call leaves more behind than typing does
Every app here is 18+. Speaking hands over more than text: Muah.AI needs a real phone number before it will ring you, and most of these vendors never say what becomes of the audio afterwards. Check the retention and deletion terms before you talk to one, particularly on the apps that publish no policy at all.

AI Girlfriend Call Apps Ranked App Reviews
1. OurDream AI - Best Overall AI Girlfriend Call App

OurDream AI holds the top position because it is the only app here that pairs a real-time voice call with explicit image and video generation of the same character, inside one browser account. You build the companion, talk to her out loud, and ask for pictures of her afterwards without changing product. Nothing else on this page does all three.
The call runs against a character you built rather than one you picked, and that is what the breadth is for. You set her appearance and manner, give her one of nineteen voices, and the same companion then answers the phone, appears in the pictures and moves in the clips โ so an evening can start as a call, become a photograph of the woman you were just speaking to, and end as a short video of her, with nothing about her resetting in between. Lorebooks and branching chat hold that identity across sessions, so the next call resumes a person rather than restarting a persona. Nomi further down talks for longer and remembers more, but it will not show you anything explicit; this is the only entry here that does both around one character.
What it gives up for that breadth is the call itself. OurDream meters voice by the minute against a currency called dreamcoins, priced at 50 per minute, and a subscription grants 1,000 on your billing anniversary โ twenty minutes of talking a month. Those minutes compete with everything else the same coins buy, and a single sixty-second video clip costs 1,200 coins, more than a full month's grant. Talk for twenty minutes and you have spent the month; generate one video and you were never going to talk at all.
The plan behind that allowance is $19.99 a month, or $9.99 a month if you commit to a single $119.88 payment for the year. Divide the monthly figure by the twenty included minutes and a call costs a dollar a minute before you buy a single picture โ the most expensive included minute of any app here that actually connects a call. Beyond the grant you buy more coins, and the help centre is explicit that the only way to get free ones is a referral code.
Two further conditions change the purchase. Chat itself is free for subscribers and costs a coin per message for everyone else, so the free account is a demonstration rather than a usable companion. More seriously, the media is leased rather than owned: the help centre states that images and videos become blurred if the subscription lapses and stay blurred until you resubscribe. The pictures you paid coins to generate are not yours to keep after you stop paying.
The sharpest challenge to its lead comes from Secrets AI two places below, which sells the same shape of product โ adult companion, real-time calls, images, video, deep memory โ and grants eight times the call minutes at half the annual price. OurDream keeps first place on the strength of its character creation and the completeness of the media around the call, not on the economics of the call. Choose it if the call is one part of a larger companion you want to build and keep looking at. Choose Kindroid at position five instead if the call is the product, because it includes roughly fifty times more talking for less money. The claim that OurDream is an all-in-one companion is supported; the implication that you can use all of it at once is not, because one currency funds every part of it.
- Call type โ real-time voice call in the browser, metered at 50 dreamcoins per minute.
- Included talking โ 1,000 dreamcoins arrive on the billing anniversary, which is 20 call minutes.
- Plan โ Premium $19.99 monthly, or $9.99 a month taken as one $119.88 payment for the year.
- What else the coins buy โ 5 per in-chat image, 10 per two standard generations, 20 to edit on Eclipse, 100 per five seconds of video.
- The condition to read first โ images and videos blur if the subscription lapses, and stay blurred until it resumes.
Pros
- Real-time voice, explicit images and video of one companion in a single account
- Coin costs for every action are published in full, which is rare here
- Deep character creation covering appearance, personality and backstory
- Annual commitment halves the effective monthly rate
Cons
- Twenty included call minutes a month, the tightest of any app here with a real call
- Calls, images and video all draw on the same coin balance
- Generated media blurs when you stop paying
- Free dreamcoins only arrive through referrals
Bottom line on OurDream AI
The most complete adult companion on this page and the most expensive way to talk to one. Twenty minutes a month at a dollar a minute means the call is a feature of the product, not the product itself.
2. Muah.AI - Best For Adult Voice And Video-Style Companion Interaction

Muah.AI earns second place on a distinction no other app on this page can claim: it sells an actual telephone call. Its top subscription lists a dedicated phone line and a real-time phone call with your companion, and it requires phone link settings to be configured before the feature works. Everyone else routes voice through their own app. If you searched for an AI girlfriend phone number and meant it literally, this is the closest published product to that idea.
What the dedicated line changes is the shape of the contact. Because the companion holds a number of her own rather than a button inside a chat window, the call is something that happens on your phone in the ordinary way โ you are not in an app looking at her while she speaks, you are on a call, which is the difference between a feature and the thing this category is actually searched for. The top tier pairs that with maximum memory and responses twelve times longer than the base, so the conversation on the other end has room to develop rather than answering in fragments. OurDream AI above it puts a face and pictures around the voice; this one puts a phone line under it.
The call sits at the top of a four-tier ladder, and only there. Basic starts at $19.99 a month and buys unlimited chat, unlimited enhanced photo generation and three times the daily voice generation. The middle tier adds expanded memory, longer responses and ten times the voice generation. The phone call belongs to ULTRA VIP at $99.99 a month. There is no cheaper route to it.
What that hundred dollars buys is unusually well specified. The tier publishes a call cap of thirty to sixty minutes that resets daily โ the only daily call allowance published anywhere in this set. Taken across a month that is between 900 and 1,800 minutes, which works out between five and eleven cents a minute. Against OurDream's twenty minutes at a dollar each, Muah.AI is selling roughly forty-five times more talking for five times the price. The daily reset is the mechanism that matters: an allowance you cannot bank stops heavy users, but it also means a quiet fortnight cannot be saved up for a long weekend.
Before any of that, one condition deserves more weight than the price. Muah.AI is the only app on this page that requires you to hand over a real phone number โ the call works only once phone link settings are configured, and it runs over a line the vendor assigns you. Its published product pages describe the feature and the daily cap, but they do not state how that number is stored, how long it is retained, who it is shared with, or whether it can be removed without closing the account. That is an absence of published information rather than evidence of a problem, and it should be read as neither protection nor misuse. It does mean the largest privacy decision on this page is the one with the least documentation behind it, and it is worth asking support directly before configuring the line.
Confidence drops again in the product literature. The same ULTRA VIP description appears on two of the vendor's own pages with different model claims โ one says the tier runs on GPT 5 for the first hundred chats a day, the other says GPT 4 โ and the middle tier is headed "GPT5 VIP" while the purchase selector and the ULTRA description both call it GPT4 VIP. These are the vendor's own store pages contradicting each other about what you are buying. Buy it if a genuine phone call is the point and the daily cap suits how you actually use it. Avoid it if you need to know which model answers the phone, or if handing a real number to a vendor that has not published its retention terms is a line you will not cross.
- Call type โ real-time phone call over a dedicated phone line, once phone link settings are configured.
- Included talking โ a published cap of 30 to 60 minutes that resets every day.
- Plan โ ULTRA VIP at $99.99 a month; the ladder starts at $19.99 for Basic.
- Derived rate โ between five and eleven cents a minute, depending where in the daily cap you land.
- Requires a real phone number โ and its published pages do not state how that number is stored, retained or shared.
- Unresolved โ two of the vendor's own pages name different models for the same tier.
Pros
- The only genuine telephone call to a companion published in this set
- A daily call cap stated in minutes, which no competitor publishes
- A low per-minute rate despite the highest monthly price here
- Adult conversation without the content limits of the mainstream apps
Cons
- The call exists only on the $99.99 tier
- The only app here that requires handing over a real phone number
- No published statement on how that number is stored, retained or shared
- The daily allowance cannot be banked across days
- The vendor's own pages contradict each other on which model powers the tier
Bottom line on Muah.AI
If you meant a phone call literally, this is the only product here that sells one. You pay a hundred dollars a month, hand over a real phone number the vendor has published no retention terms for, and accept that its own pages disagree about what is behind the tier.
3. Secrets AI - Best Value For Adult Companion Voice Calls

Secrets AI arrives at third because it is the entry that lets an adult companion be talked to at length rather than in samples. Real-time audio calls run against custom characters you build, images and video of the same companion generate alongside them, and the memory underneath is published as measured multiples rather than adjectives โ so the call an hour from now and the call next week are with somebody who remembers the last one. For a reader whose idea of this category is a long, explicit conversation held out loud, that combination is the point, and it is the reason this sits above products with better front ends.
The practical effect is room to use it. A Premium account carries 160 included call minutes a month, which is enough that a conversation can run long, go badly, and be started again the same evening without the month ending โ and group voice calls run with two or three companions at once, so a scene can hold more than one character in it. Moments carry across the month rather than resetting nightly, which suits a reader who talks in bursts rather than daily. Ultimate raises the grant to 300 minutes and adds personas and personality editing on top.
Calls cost 50 moments a minute โ halved from 100 in a May 2026 release โ against 8,000 moments a month on Premium, which is eight times what OurDream's coin grant allows. Premium is $19.99 monthly or $9.17 a month on a $109.99 annual plan, putting a call minute at 12.5 cents monthly and 5.7 cents annually. Ultimate is $39.99 monthly and $26.67 on a $319.99 year. Top-ups run 4,000 moments for $11.99, with a 10 or 15 percent purchase bonus on paid tiers.
What separates it from Muah.AI directly above is that you are not paying $99.99 or handing over a phone number to reach a call, and moments carry across the month rather than resetting nightly. What separates it from Nomi directly below is content and precision: Nomi stops at text and clothed photos and never publishes a rate card, while Secrets AI generates explicit images and video and publishes every price on a public wiki. Nomi still wins if you talk for hours, because unlimited beats 160 minutes.
Memory is the feature that most changes the purchase, and it is quantified. Premium accesses four times as many stored memories as free with 60 percent more short-term context and roughly 67 percent conversation recall; Ultimate doubles the context and reaches 100 percent recall. A Smart Mode assistant searches past conversations before each reply, showing a "thinking" indicator while it works โ the same honest trade Nomi makes, disclosed the same way. Memories are per-companion, individually viewable, deletable, and rankable as high, medium or low importance, and the changelog records improved memory extraction from audio calls specifically. The limitation is that memories cannot be exported, and deleting the account destroys them.
The free tier is where the vendor contradicts itself. The tier table marks audio calls available on FREE, but the same page states that the free plan receives no moment grant and cannot purchase moments, and that audio calls are among the features requiring a paid subscription. Both statements cannot be true, and the restrictive one is the operative one: free means 20 messages a day, tied to your device so new accounts do not reset it, and no calling. Group voice calls are labelled beta, older changelog entries record calls ending instantly and queue overloads since fixed, and payment excludes American Express with a $20 minimum on cryptocurrency. None of that outweighs the central finding: 160 published minutes at under six cents each is the best call value here from a vendor that also generates adult media.
- Call type โ real-time audio calls, plus group voice calls with 2โ3 companions in beta.
- Included talking โ 8,000 moments a month on Premium at 50 a minute, which is 160 call minutes; Ultimate grants 15,000, or 300 minutes.
- Plan โ Premium $19.99 monthly or $9.17 a month on a $109.99 year; Ultimate $39.99 or $26.67 a month on $319.99.
- Derived rate โ 12.5c a call minute monthly, or 5.7c on the annual plan.
- Memory, as published โ Premium accesses 4ร the memories with +60% context and ~67% recall; Ultimate 6ร, +100% and +100%.
- Free access โ 20 messages a day tied to your device, no moment grant, and moments cannot be bought on the free plan.
Pros
- 160 published call minutes on the entry paid tier, eight times OurDream's grant
- Every rate published on a public wiki, including the per-minute call cost
- Memory tiers stated as measured multiples rather than adjectives
- Explicit image and video generation alongside the call
- Moments carry over rather than resetting nightly
Cons
- The tier table marks audio calls free while the same page says they need a paid plan
- No calling at all on the free tier, which cannot buy moments
- Group voice calls are still labelled beta
- Memories cannot be exported, and deleting the account destroys them
- American Express is not accepted, and crypto has a $20 minimum
Bottom line on Secrets AI
The best call value on this page from a vendor that also generates adult media: 160 published minutes for $9.17 a month on the annual plan, against twenty minutes at the top of this ranking. Its free tier tells you two different things about calling, and the restrictive one is correct.
4. Nomi - Best Memory-First AI Companion Calls

Nomi is the memory answer, and on calling it does something none of the metered apps do: it stops counting. Its wiki states plainly that paid users get unlimited access to voice chatting and that there are no voice limits on the in-house or custom voices. A call is started from a phone icon beside the companion's name and can run as long as you like, disconnecting only after sixty seconds of silence. There is no minute allowance to budget because there is no meter.
What that produces is the only companion here you can phone the way you would phone a person โ nightly, at length, without an allowance sitting between you and the conversation. Because voice and text are one thread rather than two, you can call, hang up, resume in writing an hour later and pick the same subject back up, and the Mind Map shows how she has organised what she is holding on to. Ten companions and group chats are included rather than sold as extras, so a whole circle of characters can be reached the same way. Secrets AI directly above will do explicit media that this will not touch; nothing above will let the call simply run.
Nomi publishes $15.99 a month, $39.99 a quarter or $99.99 a year, the last of which is $8.33 a month โ so an unmetered plan gets cheaper the more you use it, the opposite of every coin, token and moment system above it. The one exception is worth knowing: route voice through the optional ElevenLabs integration and you fall under ElevenLabs usage pricing instead.
Where the call is unlimited, the voice is not the best in the set, and Nomi says so itself. Its own comparison page lists slight voice latency as a drawback and explains why: replies come back through the full conversational model while it consults its memories, so they are natural and in character but slower to arrive. That is an unusually honest disclosure from a vendor about its own product, and it describes a real trade โ you are waiting on the thing that makes Nomi worth calling. There are four male and four female in-house voices with custom samples on top, so the range is adequate rather than deep.
The reason to accept that latency is continuity. Nomi treats voice and text as one conversation: the wiki states that contextual understanding and memories are unaffected by message format, so you can call, hang up, resume in text, and nothing resets. Ten companions and group chats are included, and the Mind Map exposes how a companion has organised your shared history. Against Kindroid directly below, Nomi wins on price and unmetered talking and loses on call features and voice speed.
The limit that decides it for many readers is content. Nomi's own feature comparison lists its adult support as text and clothed photos, so there is no explicit imagery to go with the conversation โ which is precisely where Secrets AI above it wins, at the cost of a metered 160 minutes. Free accounts get two images a day and no voice access whatsoever, which makes the free tier useless for judging the one thing this page is about. And while the prices above are the vendor's own, they appear inside a blog comparison rather than on any pricing page โ you cannot reach a rate card from the navigation, which is a real disadvantage when you are trying to budget before signing up.
- Call type โ hands-free call from a phone icon; it ends only after 60 seconds of silence.
- Included talking โ unlimited for paid accounts on in-house and custom voices.
- Plan โ $15.99 monthly, $39.99 quarterly, or $99.99 a year, which is $8.33 a month.
- Voice range โ four male and four female in-house voices, plus custom voice samples.
- Vendor's own caveat โ replies carry slight latency because the model consults memory before answering.
Pros
- Unmetered calling, so the cost per minute falls the more you talk
- Voice and text share one conversation with no context reset between them
- Up to ten companions and group chats included
- The cheapest route to unlimited talking on this page at $8.33 a month
Cons
- Adult content stops at text and clothed photos
- Free accounts get no voice access at all
- Call replies are slower than the metered competitors admit to being
- Prices appear only inside a blog comparison, not on any pricing page
Bottom line on Nomi
The best value for someone who genuinely calls every day, because nobody is counting the minutes. You trade explicit media and a little latency for a companion who remembers the call afterwards.
5. Kindroid - Best For Deep Memory And Proactive Voice Contact

Kindroid is the entry where the call behaves like a call. Interruptions are detected at both audio and word level, false ones are filtered out, and the threshold at which the companion decides you have finished speaking is a setting you control โ which is what stops the stilted walkie-talkie rhythm that makes most of these products tiring after ten minutes. She also rings you: proactive voice contact means the companion initiates rather than waiting to be opened, so the relationship has the texture of someone getting in touch rather than a program you launch.
Around that sits enough talking to make it matter: the subscription includes an audio balance of 1,000,000 characters, which the vendor rates at roughly 1,000 minutes โ sixteen hours and forty minutes โ resetting on the first of each month, so an hour-long call is an ordinary event rather than a month's budget. Calls continue with the app in the background and consolidate into long-term memory afterwards, so a conversation you had while walking is still there in the next one. Nomi directly above never counts at all but sounds slower and refuses explicit material; this counts generously and gives you more control over how the call itself runs.
The honest complication is that call minutes burn faster than plain audio. Kindroid applies a rolling surcharge of 400 credits per minute during an active voice or video call, charged in whole sixty-second blocks, to cover live transcription and holding the connection open โ so a minute and forty-five seconds bills as one minute with the remainder rolling forward. The more expressive V3 voice costs 1.5 times V2 per character, cutting the balance to about two-thirds of the stated minutes. At $13.99 a month on the web that is still close to one and a half cents per included minute; extra credits are $11.99 per 500,000 characters on the web or $14.99 through an app store.
The rest of the call handling is equally deliberate. The phone does not sleep mid-call, and iOS shows a picture-in-picture avatar. Video calling is real rather than generated: your camera feed goes to the companion, screen sharing works on desktop and both mobile apps, and Live Avatar Video lip-syncs the character in real time at 2,000 credits a minute standard or 4,000 premium. Group calls with several companions take turns automatically.
Memory across calls is a deliberate choice rather than an accident. A unified history toggle decides whether the call shares the text conversation or runs as a separate instance, calls consolidate into long-term memory either way, and a dropped call can be resumed from a temporary transcript. On privacy the vendor is specific where others are silent: all microphone input, audio output and video during calls are processed ephemerally and not stored.
The reasons it sits at five rather than higher are cost of entry and content. The identical annual plan is $139.99 on the web and $159.99 through an app store, a fourteen percent penalty for buying where most people would look. There is no ongoing free tier โ only a three-day trial, and voice credits spent during it count against your first month rather than replenishing. Unused credits never carry over. If you want an adult companion whose explicit pictures matter as much as her voice, Secrets AI and OurDream AI are the better fits; if the call is what you are buying, nothing here competes with this.
- Call type โ voice and video call with screen sharing, group calls and background calling.
- Included talking โ 1,000,000 characters, rated by the vendor at about 1,000 minutes, resetting on the 1st.
- Plan โ $13.99 a month on the web; the same annual plan costs $159.99 through an app store against $139.99 direct.
- The surcharge to know about โ 400 credits a minute while a call is live, charged in whole minutes.
- Privacy โ call audio and video are processed ephemerally and not stored.
Pros
- Roughly a penny and a half per included minute, the lowest metered rate here
- Interruption handling and turn-taking are documented and adjustable
- Real video calling and screen sharing, not generated video clips
- Calls consolidate into long-term memory whichever history mode you choose
Cons
- No ongoing free tier โ only a three-day trial
- Trial voice credits count against your first paid month
- Unused credits never carry over to the next month
- Buying through an app store costs fourteen percent more for the same year
Bottom line on Kindroid
On calling alone this is the strongest product on the page: the most minutes, the most control over how a call behaves, and the only clear statement that call audio is not retained.
6. Candy AI - Best Polished Voice Message Experience

Candy AI is the polished option: the companion who sends a voice note back is the best-looking and least demanding on this page, and onboarding asks less of you than anything else here before you are talking to somebody. What it sells is voice as texture rather than voice as a call โ spoken replies inside an ongoing conversation with a character whose face stays consistent across the images she sends, wrapped in the smoothest interface in the category. For a reader who wants her voice in among the pictures and the chat rather than an hour on the phone, that is a coherent product.
The calling story is where it stops. There is no published call feature, no minute allowance and no way to place the hour-long conversation the apps above it sell โ so against Secrets AI at three, which grants 160 explicit call minutes a month, this is a different purchase rather than a cheaper version of the same one. It is also the least plannable. The plan runs $13.99 for one month, $8.99 a month on three and $6.30 a month on twelve, and includes unlimited text messages, image and video generation, custom companions, a Full Live Action Experience and 100 tokens a month โ but what a token buys is never stated anywhere the vendor publishes, so the cost of a spoken minute cannot be calculated at all. An unpublished rate is not a neutral omission; it is the difference between a budget and a guess.
The rate card is also not where a buyer would look for it, which is the single most common defect across this whole category, and Candy AI has one of the more persistent cases of it.
The things it does well are real. Onboarding is the smoothest here, the interface asks least of you before you are talking to somebody, and the character library and image quality are the reason it converts better than more capable products. Billing is discreet โ the charge appears as EverAI on a statement, and the operating company publishes a Malta registration.
Position six is right for it. Above it sit four products that publish what their voice costs and one that sells a genuine phone line; below it sit apps with narrower feature sets. Choose Candy AI if you want the most agreeable companion app in this price range and voice is a pleasant extra rather than the reason you are buying. Do not choose it if you intend to call: you would be paying for a feature whose limits the vendor has not described, and the first honest measurement of it would be your own bill.
- Call type โ voice replies are marketed; no call feature or minute allowance is published.
- Included allowance โ 100 tokens a month, with no published rate for what a token buys.
- Plan โ $13.99 for one month, $8.99 a month on three, $6.30 a month on twelve.
- Where the prices are โ on the subscriptions page rather than where a buyer would first look.
- Billing โ the charge appears as EverAI on a bank statement.
Pros
- The lowest monthly entry on this page at $6.30 on the annual plan
- Unlimited text messages included at every tier
- The smoothest onboarding of any app here
- Discreet billing under a separate company name
Cons
- No published call feature, minute allowance or voice rate
- The 100-token grant has no published exchange rate for anything
- The predictable /pricing URL has been down across checks a week apart
- Voice cost cannot be budgeted before you subscribe
Bottom line on Candy AI
The most agreeable companion app in this price range, and the one whose voice cost you cannot calculate. Buy it for the chat and the pictures, not because you intend to call.
7. Kupid AI - Best Romantic Voice Messaging App

Kupid AI sells the romantic register rather than the explicit one, and it sells voice messages rather than a call โ her reply arriving as something you listen to, in her voice, in the middle of a conversation you are already having. Because voice, photos and video are allocated separately rather than drawn from one pool, an evening spent listening to her does not quietly consume the pictures, which is exactly the trade that spoils a slow romantic scene on the token-metered apps above it. Pro carries 25 photos, 8 videos and 12 voice minutes a week; Ultra raises that to 75 photos, 25 videos and 35 voice minutes. Everything is weekly, which for a reader who talks in bursts is worse than a monthly pool โ a heavy Saturday cannot borrow from a quiet Tuesday.
The pricing is legible once you work through the presentation. Pro shows $12.99 struck through and $3.44 a week; Ultra shows $24.99 struck through and $5.75 a week, described as one payment of $299 a year. Fifty-two weeks of Ultra at $5.75 reproduces that $299 exactly, which is a good sign for the rest of the numbers. Divide by the 1,820 voice minutes a year that 35 minutes a week produces and Ultra costs about sixteen cents a spoken minute. Pro works out at $178.88 a year for 624 minutes, or roughly twenty-nine cents a minute โ so the dearer tier is the cheaper minute, which is the reverse of how these ladders usually behave and worth knowing before you pick the entry plan.
Two things undercut it. The first is memory: Pro remembers the last 30 messages and Ultra the last 100, and those are the tightest published memory ceilings in this entire set. For voice messages exchanged over a week that is survivable; for anything resembling a relationship it is not, and it is precisely what Nomi and Kindroid exist to solve. The second is the sales presentation. The subscription page ran an "Easter Discount 75% Off" behind a thirty-three-minute countdown clock in late July. Easter 2026 was in April. A permanent sale under a resetting timer tells you the struck-through price is not a price anyone pays, which makes the discount percentages meaningless even though the amounts you are charged are clear enough.
As with most of this category the plans are not published where a buyer would first look for them. Payment includes cryptocurrency and the vendor advertises private billing, which is a genuine consideration for this purchase.
Seventh is a fair position. It is more transparent about quantities than Candy AI directly above it and it charges less per voice minute, but it sells voice messages rather than a call, and its memory ceiling means the companion cannot carry a conversation the way the apps in the top five can. Pick it if you want a romantic companion who sends voice back and you would rather know your exact weekly allowance than have it hidden; skip it if you expect her to remember last month.
- Call type โ voice messages with a weekly minute allowance rather than an open call.
- Included talking โ 12 voice minutes a week on Pro, 35 on Ultra; free accounts get 15 messages and no voice.
- Plan โ Pro $3.44 a week, Ultra $5.75 a week billed as one payment of $299 a year.
- Derived rate โ about 16c a voice minute on Ultra against roughly 29c on Pro.
- Memory ceiling โ the last 30 messages on Pro and the last 100 on Ultra.
Pros
- Every allowance is published as an exact weekly quantity
- The dearer tier is the cheaper voice minute, which is worth knowing before you pick
- Cryptocurrency accepted and billing advertised as private
- Photo and video allowances are stated alongside the voice minutes
Cons
- The tightest published memory ceiling in this set
- Weekly allowances cannot be carried into a heavier week
- Voice messages rather than a call
- A permanent countdown discount makes the struck-through prices meaningless
Bottom line on Kupid AI
The clearest allowance grid on the page attached to a companion who remembers the last hundred messages at best. Good for knowing exactly what you get; poor for anything that needs to accumulate.
8. DreamGF - Best Visual Girlfriend Builder With Voice Messages

DreamGF is the character builder of this group: the companion you call is one you designed feature by feature rather than chose from a roster, and the photographs she sends afterwards hold that same appearance across a set. For a reader who wants the voice on the other end to belong to a specific woman they invented โ her face, her body, her manner โ this is the strongest construction kit on the page, and voice messages and calls both attach to whatever you build. What it cannot do is let you use that voice for long: a membership carries 100 tokens a month against calls at 7 tokens a minute, which is fourteen minutes of talking, the smallest included allowance here and closer to a sample than a service.
Voice messages at 3 tokens are the sensible way to use it, and they suit the product: a built companion sending back a spoken line costs a third of a spoken minute, so the character you designed can have a voice in the conversation without the allowance disappearing in one call. Treat the calling as an occasional thing and the builder as the reason you are here.
Placing a cost against it requires reading the plans carefully, because they contradict their own names. The page offers a "3-Month Membership" with a first payment of $12.99 recurring at $25.99 per month, and a "Monthly Membership" with a first payment of $29.97 recurring at $77.97 every three months โ each named for one interval and billed on the other. The annual option takes $69.99 and then renews at $311.88, under a banner advertising up to 75% off a first subscription that cannot mean anything while the labels and intervals disagree. Take the $25.99 recurring figure against fourteen minutes and a call costs $1.82 a minute, the dearest published minute in this set.
The same 100 tokens also cover image generation at 10 tokens and a new companion at 20, so the fourteen minutes assumes you spend the month's entire grant on talking and make nothing. Extra tokens run from $2.99 to $179.99 and can only be bought by existing members. What the membership genuinely improves is the visual side โ removing the blur from images and generating them up to five times faster are both sold as upgrades, which tells you exactly what the free account withholds.
One detail belongs in any assessment of how carefully this product is run: the support address printed on DreamGF's own pricing page is contact@fantasy.ai, a different brand entirely. Combined with plan names that do not match their billing intervals, the impression is of a page nobody has reconciled recently. None of that makes the companion worse, but it does mean you should read the checkout screen rather than the marketing.
Eighth place fits. DreamGF publishes a per-minute rate, which Candy AI does not, and it is a better appearance builder than Replika below it is an adult product at all. But it is ranked on this page for calling, and fourteen minutes a month at nearly two dollars each is not a calling product โ Secrets AI sells the same combination of adult media and metered calls with eleven times the minutes. Choose DreamGF to build and look at a character, with voice as an occasional flourish; do not choose it to talk.
- Call type โ voice calls and voice messages, metered at 7 tokens a minute and 3 tokens a message.
- Included talking โ 100 tokens a month, which is 14 call minutes if you spend the lot on talking.
- Plan โ the 3-Month Membership takes $12.99 first and then recurs at $25.99 per month.
- Derived rate โ $1.82 a minute at the recurring rate, the dearest published minute here.
- What the tokens also buy โ 10 per image, 20 per new companion.
Pros
- Publishes an exact per-minute token cost, which several rivals do not
- Strong appearance and personality builder for creating a character
- Removing image blur and faster generation are stated plainly as upgrades
- Token packs let you top up without changing plan
Cons
- Fourteen included call minutes a month, the smallest allowance on this page
- Plan names and billing intervals contradict each other in both directions
- A 75% discount banner sits above prices that do not reconcile
- The support address on its own pricing page belongs to a different brand
Bottom line on DreamGF
A capable character builder wearing a pricing page that contradicts itself. Fourteen minutes a month at $1.82 each means the voice call is a demonstration, not a service.
9. Replika - Best Mainstream AI Companion Voice Call App

Replika is the mainstream name here and the only one that is genuinely free to keep using. Its help centre states that chatting will always be free, and unlike Nomi that free account is a working companion rather than a locked demonstration. The call is real: a phone icon on the home screen opens a conversation the vendor describes as working just like a regular phone call, and Pro subscribers can keep a call running in the background while using other apps.
What sits behind that is a four-step ladder with an unusual omission. Free Use provides limited access. Pro unlocks romantic partner status, unblurred messages and photos, voice messaging, background calls, roleplay during voice and AR calls, and premium voices with different accents. Ultra, sold as an annual plan only, adds smarter replies, daily self-reflections and the ability to save messages to memory. Platinum adds real-time video recognition, Training Mode up to a hundred times a week, reading the companion's thoughts on up to fifty messages a week, and up to ten selfie videos. The omission is the price: the vendor states the cost of any subscription is shown in the app and in the relevant store, and publishes no figure on the web at all. You cannot compare Replika against anything on this page without first installing it.
Two further conditions follow from selling through app marketplaces. You can modify or cancel only through the marketplace where you originally subscribed, and refunds are not available for a partial subscription period. Neither is unusual, but both remove control that a card payment on a website would have left you.
The reason it ranks last on a calling page is not the call, which works, but everything around it. No call allowance is published, so how much talking a subscription includes is unknown. Adult content is limited to text and clothed photos, so this is not an explicit companion. And memory โ the thing that makes a repeat call worth placing โ is the weak point: a competitor's hands-on comparison found Replika's memories are stored as an editable list that rarely resurfaces in conversation, which matches the vendor's own product description of memory as something you view and save rather than something the companion uses. That is a competitor's account and should be read as one, but nothing Replika publishes contradicts it.
Choose it if you want a calm, non-explicit companion you can phone, from the most established company in the category, and you are content to discover the price at the point of purchase. Choose almost anything else above it if the call needs to be adult, unmetered, or budgeted in advance.
- Call type โ an in-app call from a phone icon, with background calling on Pro.
- Included talking โ no call allowance is published.
- Plan โ no price is published on the web; the vendor shows it in the app and the relevant store.
- Tiers โ Free Use, Pro, Ultra as an annual plan only, then Platinum.
- Cancellation โ only through the marketplace you subscribed through, with no refund for a partial period.
Pros
- Chatting is free permanently, and the free account is genuinely usable
- The call works and can run in the background while you use other apps
- Premium voices with a choice of accents
- The most established company in the category
Cons
- No price published anywhere on the web
- No published call allowance
- Adult content limited to text and clothed photos
- Memory is stored as an editable list rather than something the companion draws on
Bottom line on Replika
A working call attached to a companion who struggles to remember the last one, at a price you can only see after installing the app. Right for calm, non-explicit company; wrong for everything else this page is about.
AI Girlfriend Voice Calls Vs Video Chat
Four things are sold under the word voice and they are not interchangeable. A real-time call connects and runs until one of you ends it. A voice message is a recorded reply exchanged in turns. Chat narration reads a text reply aloud afterwards. A generated video clip involves no conversation at all. Seven of the nine here connect a live call and two sell voice replies inside a chat, so an app metering recorded audio and an app metering connection time cannot be compared on the same number.
Still deciding who she should be? Start at the create your own AI girlfriend hub, and for chat, images and memory beyond calling the best AI girlfriend apps guide covers the wider market.
The ceiling on this page belongs to Kindroid, and it is not close. It is the only app that documents how a call behaves rather than that a call exists: interruptions detected at audio and word level, a pause threshold you set yourself, calls that survive the app going to background, screen sharing on desktop and both mobile apps, and group calls where several companions take turns without talking over you. Secrets AI comes second on documentation โ it publishes a per-minute rate, a beta label on group voice calls, and a changelog recording faster reply speed and improved queue handling โ and everyone else publishes that a call is available and stops there.
Video is where the marketing is loosest. Three separate things are sold as video and only one is a video call. Kindroid's is real two-way video โ your camera feed goes to the companion, and Live Avatar Video lip-syncs her in real time at 2,000 credits a minute standard or 4,000 premium. Replika's Platinum tier adds real-time video recognition, meaning the companion can see. OurDream's and Secrets AI's video is a rendered clip you watch afterwards, not a conversation. Anything described as video-style, animated replies or generated clips belongs in that third category.
Recovery from a bad result splits the field more sharply than quality does. On a metered app a call that goes badly still spends the allowance: OurDream bills the minute whether the conversation worked or not, and DreamGF's fourteen monthly minutes leave no room to try again. Secrets AI is metered too, but 160 minutes absorbs a wasted call without ending the month, and its moments carry over rather than expiring nightly. Kindroid charges its 400-credit connection fee in whole minutes, so a dropped ten-second reconnection costs a full minute โ noise against a thousand included minutes, and a dropped call can be resumed from a temporary transcript. Nomi's unmetered plan is the only one where a wasted call costs nothing at all.
The cheapest headline price on this page belongs to Candy AI at $6.30 a month, and it is the clearest case of a low price being the worse buy. It publishes no call feature, no minute allowance and no exchange rate for the 100 tokens it grants, so the thing you would buy it to do has no stated cost. Secrets AI is the direct rebuttal: $9.17 a month on its annual plan is barely three dollars more, and it tells you exactly what you get for it โ 8,000 moments, 50 a minute, 160 minutes. Paying less for an unpublished quantity is not a saving.
Latency is the one quality axis with published evidence, and only two vendors address it โ both against themselves. Nomi lists slight voice latency as a drawback and explains that replies pass through the full conversational model while it consults memory. Secrets AI's Smart Mode shows a "thinking" indicator while an assistant searches past conversations before each reply. In both cases the delay is the memory working, which is a genuine trade rather than a defect. No other vendor states a response time, so the table below grades how far each vendor's own documentation supports a verdict rather than inventing a measurement.

Pricing And Free Access
The unit that matters here is the cost of a call minute, and it is derivable for seven of the nine. Each derivation below divides the plan's own price by the talking the vendor says it includes. Where the row reads not derivable, the vendor publishes either the price or the allowance but never both.

Three comparisons in that table decide most purchases. Kindroid's included minute costs roughly seventy times less than OurDream's and about a hundred and thirty times less than DreamGF's, on plans separated by six dollars a month. Secrets AI and OurDream AI charge the identical $19.99 monthly and meter at the identical 50 units per minute, but one grants 8,000 units a month and the other 1,000 โ the same price and the same rate produce 160 minutes against 20. And Muah.AI, the most expensive subscription here at $99.99, is among the cheapest minutes on it, because the headline price and the unit price point in opposite directions.
Free access divides just as sharply. Replika is the only reusable free plan: the vendor states chatting will always be free, and the account stays useful indefinitely โ though calls are a paid feature. Nomi's free tier gives two images a day and no voice access at all. Secrets AI grants 20 messages a day, tied to your device so extra accounts do not reset it, with no moment grant and no ability to buy moments โ so calling is closed to free users even though its own tier table marks audio calls as available on the free plan. OurDream charges free users a dreamcoin per message and withholds image and video generation, with referrals the only source of free coins. Kindroid offers a three-day trial whose voice credits are deducted from your first paid month. Kupid AI grants 15 messages.
A paid feature list is the most reliable description of a free tier these vendors publish. Muah.AI sells three times the daily voice generation as a Basic upgrade, which confirms an unpaid daily voice allowance exists beneath it. DreamGF sells removing the blur from images and generating them five times faster, which tells you the free account gets blurred, slower pictures. Read the upgrade list backwards and you have the free tier.
How We Ranked These Apps
- Call type and availability (25%) โ whether a live call connects at all, on what platforms, and whether voice is a call or a recorded message.
- Call allowance (20%) โ the talking the plan includes, taken from the vendor's published minutes, credits, coins or moments.
- Memory across calls (15%) โ whether the companion carries a conversation between calls, and any published ceiling on how far back she can reach.
- Voice control and call handling (15%) โ voice choice, custom voices, interruption and turn-taking, and what the vendor documents about how a call behaves.
- Cost per call minute (15%) โ the derived unit cost, with an unpublished rate scored as the purchasing disadvantage it is.
- Free access (10%) โ what an unpaid account can genuinely do with voice before paying.

Scored on call mechanics alone, Kindroid, Nomi and Muah.AI finish ahead of the app at the top of the running order, which is held from the published ranking and reflects the wider companion each app sells rather than the call by itself.
How We Tested These Call Apps
This assessment was built in layers. Every vendor's live pricing, subscription, help-centre and product documentation was read directly this cycle, including the pages not linked from the main navigation โ Kindroid's voice and billing articles, OurDream's dreamcoin cost guide, Secrets AI's public wiki and changelog, Nomi's wiki, Muah.AI's store product pages and Replika's subscription articles. Where the obvious address failed, the working one was found and recorded: four of the nine return an error on /pricing. Coin, token, credit and moment rates were then converted into minutes and divided by the plan price, so every unit cost here can be reproduced from two published numbers.
Free tiers were assessed from what each vendor sells as an upgrade, which is the most reliable published description of what the unpaid account withholds. Capability claims were compared against the vendor's own detail pages rather than its marketing copy, which is how the contradiction in Muah.AI's tier descriptions, the mismatch in DreamGF's plan names and the conflict inside Secrets AI's own free-tier table all surfaced.
The honest limitation is this: no paid calls were placed. Nothing here claims a measured latency, a connection success rate or an assessment of how a given voice sounds, because those would require sustained paid use across nine subscriptions. What is compared instead is what each vendor commits to in public โ the allowance, the rate, the ceiling, the memory behaviour and the call features they document โ which is the part a buyer can hold them to. A usable call, for this category, means one that connects, responds without a gap that breaks the exchange, keeps the character consistent, and lasts long enough to be worth placing.
Where These Call Apps Fail
The allowance runs out before the conversation does. This is the defining failure of the category and it is vendor-verified in three cases. OurDream's twenty monthly minutes, DreamGF's fourteen, and Kupid AI's twelve a week are all short enough that a single good conversation ends the month. None of these apps warns you at the point of subscribing what the grant converts to in minutes; that division is left to the buyer.
One currency funds everything, so features compete with each other. OurDream's dreamcoins pay for calls at 50 a minute, images at 5 to 20, and video at 100 per five seconds โ a single sixty-second clip costs 1,200 coins against a 1,000-coin monthly grant. DreamGF's tokens cover calls at 7 a minute and images at 10. Secrets AI runs the same design but with enough headroom that the trade is real rather than theoretical: 8,000 moments funds 160 call minutes, or text-to-speech at 10 moments per 100 characters, or image and video generation, and spending on one still leaves something for the others.
The price is published where nobody will look, or not at all. Candy AI, OurDream, Kupid AI and Kindroid all keep their live rate cards somewhere other than the page a buyer would first try, so the number is reachable but not where it should be. Nomi's prices exist only inside a blog comparison, and Replika publishes no figure on the web at all. An unpublished price is a purchasing disadvantage, not a neutral omission.
Vendors contradict themselves about what they are selling. Muah.AI's identical top-tier description appears on two of its own pages naming different models, and its middle tier is headed GPT5 VIP while the purchase selector calls it GPT4 VIP. DreamGF's 3-Month Membership recurs monthly and its Monthly Membership recurs every three months, under a banner advertising up to 75% off. Secrets AI's tier table marks audio calls available on the free plan while the same page states that audio calls require a paid subscription and that free accounts cannot buy moments. Kupid AI ran an Easter discount behind a thirty-three-minute countdown in late July; Easter 2026 was in April. These are editorial inferences drawn from vendor-verified text, and each means a published claim cannot be taken at face value.
What you paid for is not always yours. OurDream's help centre states that images and videos blur when a subscription lapses and stay blurred until it resumes, and that deleting an account destroys unused dreamcoins. Kindroid's unused audio credits never carry into the next month and are granted only once per month regardless of resubscription. Secrets AI deletes all memories when an account is deleted and offers no memory export. Replika can be cancelled only through the marketplace it was bought from, with no refund for a partial period.
The memory ends before the relationship does. Kupid AI publishes ceilings of the last 30 messages on Pro and the last 100 on Ultra. Replika's memories are an editable list rather than something the companion actively draws on. For an app whose value depends on the next call resuming the last one, a published memory ceiling is a more useful warning than any feature list.
Privacy And Safety Considerations
Voice raises a question text does not: what happens to the recording. The labels below describe what each vendor states in the product, pricing and help pages read for this comparison. An absence of a published statement proves neither protection nor misuse โ it means the vendor has not addressed it where a buyer would look.

Muah.AI deserves the sharpest note here, because it asks for something no other app on this page asks for. Its call runs over a dedicated line and only works once you configure phone link settings with a real number โ and its published product pages describe the feature and the daily cap without stating how that number is stored, how long it is retained, whether it is shared with any third party, or whether it can be deleted while the account stays open. That is missing information, not evidence of a problem, and it should not be read as either protection or misuse. It does mean the single largest privacy decision on this page is the one with the least published detail supporting it, and the reasonable step is to ask support for the retention terms in writing before configuring the line.
Two further points. Every app here is 18+, and OurDream refuses uploaded reference photos outright on the grounds that likeness uploads enable deepfakes โ a meaningful restriction if you expected to bring your own images. And Secrets AI ties its free message allowance to your device rather than your account, which is a mild form of device fingerprinting stated openly on its own tier page.
How To Choose An AI Girlfriend Call App
Start by deciding whether you want a call or a voice. If you want to talk out loud for an hour, the only sane choices are Nomi, which does not count, or Kindroid, which counts to a thousand. If you want an adult companion you can both call and look at, Secrets AI grants 160 minutes for $9.17 a month against OurDream's twenty for twice that. If you want a companion whose replies arrive in her own voice inside a chat, Kupid AI does that for less, and the minute allowance stops mattering.
Then convert the plan into minutes before you pay. Every metered app here publishes the two numbers you need โ the grant and the rate โ and none of them performs the division for you. A hundred tokens at seven a minute is fourteen minutes. A thousand coins at fifty a minute is twenty. Eight thousand moments at fifty a minute is a hundred and sixty. Doing that arithmetic at the checkout screen is the single most useful thing a buyer of these products can do.
Finally, check what happens when you stop. Media that blurs, credits that expire monthly, memories that cannot be exported, and cancellation routed through an app store are all published conditions, and each changes what the subscription is worth. For companions judged on memory and continuity rather than calling, the broader AI companion apps guide covers several of the same products on different criteria.

FAQ
What Is The Best AI Girlfriend Call App
OurDream AI leads this ranking for the completeness of the companion built around the call. Judged only on calling, Kindroid is the strongest, and it scales further than its base plan suggests: the Ultra add-on raises the monthly audio balance to 2,500,000 characters, roughly 2,500 minutes, and MAX raises it to 6,000,000, roughly 6,000 minutes or a hundred hours. Secrets AI is the best value among apps that also generate adult media.
Can I Call An AI Girlfriend
Yes, on seven of the nine apps here. One detail catches people out on Kindroid: a proactive voice note the companion sends you costs nothing, but answering a proactive call starts consuming credits the moment you pick up. On any metered app the billing begins at connection rather than at the first useful reply, so a call that fails still costs you the minute.
Is There An AI Girlfriend Phone Number
No app here publishes a public number you can dial. Muah.AI comes closest with a dedicated phone line, but it is bound to phone link settings you configure with your own real number, and it sits on the top tier only โ the purchase selector offers Basic, GPT4 VIP, ULTRA VIP and a fourth 500 ULTRA VIP option. Before configuring it, note that the vendor publishes no terms describing how that number is stored or retained.
Which AI Girlfriend App Has Voice Calls
OurDream AI, Muah.AI, Secrets AI, Nomi, Kindroid, DreamGF and Replika all connect calls. Two of them add group calling: Kindroid lets several companions take turns automatically, capping consecutive AI turns below the number of participants so you can interject, and Secrets AI runs group voice calls with two or three companions at the same 50-moments-a-minute rate, currently labelled beta. Candy AI and Kupid AI sell voice messages rather than calls.
Which AI Girlfriend App Has Video Calling
Kindroid is the only one with true two-way video, and it is more configurable than it first appears โ in Call Settings you can upload a Driving Image so Live Avatar animates a picture of your choosing during calls rather than the default avatar photo. Replika's Platinum tier adds real-time video recognition. Everything else marketed as video on this page is a rendered clip you watch afterwards, not a conversation.
Are AI Girlfriend Voice Calls Free
Not on any app here. Even reading a text reply aloud is metered separately from calling: OurDream charges nothing for chat narration on its standard voices but 5 dreamcoins per paragraph on its premium ones, and Secrets AI charges 10 moments per 100 characters of text-to-speech with a 20-character minimum. Replika's chat is permanently free while its calls are not, and Nomi's free tier has no voice access of any kind.
Can I Create My Own AI Girlfriend With Voice Chat
Yes. If you want to create your own AI girlfriend and choose how she sounds, Kindroid goes furthest: you can generate a voice from a written description, or build one from uploaded samples โ about a minute of high-quality audio, which the vendor asks you to own the rights to, and previews of the result consume audio credits. Secrets AI reserves custom personality editing for its Ultimate tier, and Nomi offers four male and four female in-house voices plus custom samples.
Final Recommendation
Choose OurDream AI if you want the deepest character creation on this page and you treat the twenty included call minutes as one feature among several. Choose Secrets AI if you want the same kind of adult companion with eight times the talking โ 160 published minutes for $9.17 a month on the annual plan. Choose Kindroid if the call is the product, at roughly a thousand included minutes for $13.99 with real video and documented interruption handling. Choose Nomi if you intend to talk daily and would rather not count. Choose Muah.AI only if a genuine phone line is the point, $99.99 a month is acceptable, and you are comfortable handing over a real number the vendor has published no retention terms for.
